The term 'marveller' was coined in 'Art and Creativity in Reggio Emilia' (2010). In the book, the author Vea Vecchi explains that Loris Malaguzzi saw teachers as potential “professional marvellers” of children. How important it is to keep that innate spark of learning and creativity alive. Henceforth, here I chart my journey to become a professional marveller: a thinker, a researcher, a collaborator and co-constructor of what we call learning.

(Unfortunately, due to a change in my Gmail account some of the images have disappeared and are no longer visible- I might replace them... one day...)

Flipped and blended learning at Mindlab

Flipped learning and blended learning:
student centred and allows for differentiation.

Students need to learn how to learned through this model, I.e, learn how to ask questions, collaborate, gain meaning from videos, etc.

Different models such as the ones here: www.christenseninstitute.org/blended-learning-definitions-and-models/

New tools to try:
Edspace
Blendspace

Wicked problem: a problem that doesn't necessarily have an answer because it is so complex.

Reflect how you could incorporate a Flipped or Blended approach into your classroom. What tools could you use, who could you collaborate with to make it easier? Blendspace would be great to set up resources.
